Fire Extinguisher Engineer
Package:
• Basic salary up to £40,000
• Door-to-door travel paid at overtime rates after 48 hours per week
• 26 days holiday plus bank holidays
• 5% commission on additional works and new business

Role Overview:
As a Fire Extinguisher Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and installation of portable fire extinguishers across high-end residential and commercial properties. You’ll manage your own workload, ensuring compliance with relevant standards while delivering a first-class service to clients.
The role will involve travel across the M25 and surrounding Home Counties — with a particular focus on Berkshire and Hertfordshire. You’ll work independently but with the backing of a highly supportive management team who value your input and professionalism.
Responsibilities:
• Service, maintain, and install fire extinguishers in line with BS 5306 standards
• Conduct inspections and provide detailed service reports
• Offer professional advice to clients on safety compliance and improvements
• Identify opportunities for additional works and new business
• Maintain high standards of customer service and technical accuracy
Requirements:
• Experience servicing and maintaining portable fire extinguishers
• FIA or BAFE training/certifications preferred
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Full UK driving licence
