Axis Communications, the network video surveillance product manufacturer, has announced several new appointments that coincide with a restructuring, bringing together key regions including the UK and Ireland, the Nordics and Eastern Europe. Joining a newly formed Northern and Eastern Europe region, are:
Simon Emmons – Sales Manager – UK & Ireland
He joins Axis with experience from director level channel positions, and having managed partnerships within specification sales programs across multi-national and local SME business. Simon, pictured, said: “I am very much looking forward to joining the team at what is a critical and exciting time in the security industry. Through Axis deep industry expertise and innovative analytics, we will be looking to unlock solutions not previously possible with an initial focus on Critical Infrastructure, and City, Transport & Traffic projects where there is huge potential to make a tangible difference.”
Justin Hawkesford – Manager – Sales Engineering & Training Manager
He brings over 20 years’ experience in the security industry; and will be supporting the Axis UK sales team not only in the traditional security market, but, again, by exploring concepts outside the market such as operational efficiency and safety, according to the firm.
Justin added: “Alongside my colleagues, I will be looking to provide end users and partners with insights into how Axis products can be used for more than just security. The focus will be helping to reinforce Axis position as the trusted advisors and voice of authority when it comes to video and audio solutions, particularly around how to leverage analytics and AI to monitor industrial processes.”
Planning is under way for Axis’ event OPEN London on October 7. In marketing, events and territory sales Natalie Bevins becomes Marketing Manager for UK and Ireland; Darren Anderson, Territory Sales Manager; while Daniel John and Miranda Minns have taken on new Territory Sales Manager roles.
