On the afternoon of 6 March, the Women In Security Awards hosted an afternoon tea at Brightsmith on the Water in Birmingham to celebrate International Women’s Day. Over 120 women (and a handful of men) attended and during the event we heard inspirational stories around the theme of ‘Accelerating Action’ from some of the key women in the security sector. Over £4,300 was raised in a raffle for Women’s Aid Luton.
