Role: Fire Alarm Service Engineer
Location: Edinburgh
Salary: £32,000 to £40,000 per annum
We are seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Service Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, fault-finding, and minor repairs of fire alarm systems across commercial and residential properties, ensuring compliance with current regulations and industry standards.
Responsibilities:

Service, maintain, and fault-find on a wide range of Fire Alarm systems.

Conduct routine inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance.

Complete accurate reports and certification for all works carried out.

Diagnose and repair system faults efficiently to minimize downtime.

Provide technical support and excellent customer service on-site.

Ensure compliance with BS5839 and company quality standards.
Experience and Certifications Required:

Proven experience working with Fire Alarm systems.

Strong knowledge of fire alarm servicing and maintenance procedures.
-
ECS/CSCS Card.
-
FIA units or manufacturer training.
-
Full UK driving licence required.
-
Excellent fault-finding, problem-solving, and communication skills.
